How future-ready is your business’s IT?

A recent study revealed that 90% of business leaders believe their current IT systems are "best in class." But what about tomorrow?

The same study highlighted these concerns:

  • Only 39% of business leaders feel their current IT system is future-ready

  • 64% worry that their technology might be becoming outdated

  • Approximately half of the tech used by businesses is nearing the end of its life cycle

When technology is no longer supported by manufacturers or software creators, it's like driving a car that hasn't been serviced in years. It may run fine for now, but sooner or later, it's going to break down—often at the worst possible moment.

Cyber security is another significant concern for business IT. The study found that:

  • 65% of business leaders worry about cyber attacks

  • 56% admit they find it challenging to protect their business from these threats

No one can control if their business comes under attack, but you can ensure your business is prepared. The best way to do that is by keeping your IT systems up to date and investing in the right security tools.

How can you ensure your business’s IT is future-ready?

Take a thorough look at your current setup:

  • Is your tech starting to slow down?

  • Do you need to start replacing hardware or software?

If your business tech needs updating, don't wait until things have stopped working. Think ahead and start planning for upgrades now. And while you're at it, ensure your team is trained on the latest tools and systems.
